New creature

I have officially come up with a new creatures. A charker. It is most of the time a girl who in it's true form looks drop dead gorgeous, but they're voice can either paralyze, Control, or Change your mind. Here's my story for it:

"You don't like him. You never did," her voice was like icy fingers running down my back. I kept my face emotionless as she circled me.

"You can't resist me for long," She hissed right in my ear, "You'll have to give in. He already listens to me."

"Charker," I said a puff of fog leaving my mouth.

"You know my kind," She purred, "Then you know you cannot resist me."

"Who says that? You?" I shot back. She flinched and floated in front of me. To any boy she would have been beautiful. To me she meant nothing. Her reddish blond hair had faded to light blue and now floated around her head like a halo. Her clothes were now an elegant white dress, and her skin was a pale blue that seemed to glow. She placed a clawed finger under my chin lifting it up so I was forced to look into her eyes.

"You strong Jackson," She complimented, "But he's not." She pointed over to Jake where he stood starring at us. "Come here boy." Jake complied coming over to us.

"Yes my queen," He said bowing before her. I felt hatred flare inside me.

"Let him go," I growled.

She laughed, "I never made him stay dear. He just couldn't resist me." She gave me a crude smile that faded quickly. She stared down at where my sword stuck out and blue blood started to trickle down her white dress.

"By order of the Jet forces, Your discharged," I commanded, and she disappeared in a puff of blue smoke. I heard Jake groan and fall to the ground. I ran to his side as he started to come through.

"Ugh I feel like crap," He moaned, "What happened? I saw this beautiful girl..... Aw Crap! She did not!"

I laughed, "Calm down. It's not that easy. I almost gave in."

"I'm glad you didn't," He said kissing me, "Your more beautiful than her." I blushed I slugged him in the arm. He grinned, and we both laughed as snow slowly started to fall.

Ok I had no idea how to end that so that was the best I could do. Tell me what you think!

Heartbreak

Ok so in my book Sanditron Jade and Ever's parents died in a mysterious accident and I thought I might be fun to write what happened the night they died. Here's what I got:

I was only 12. It had only been two years that I'd been in the society. Going from juggling school and the new job as leader of the Jet forces was hard enough, but that night was horrible. I remember it like a movie stuck replying in your head forever. Snow fell softly lightly touching the ground. Ever and I had just finished some training and were trudging home in the snow. Mom hadn't been there to pick us up. I got worried. She was always there to pick us up.
"It's freezing out here!" Ever grumbled shoving her hands deeper into her pockets. I let out a foggy breath.
"We're almost home," I said, "You can make it." She nodded determined not to let me down. I saw the glow of orange before we even reached the house.
"No," Ever gasped, and we took off running. We stopped in front of our house where several police man and firefighters stood trying to stop the flames. My hood fell from my head, and I felt the cold fingers of the wind whip at my ears. I tried to run toward the house, but a police man stopped me.
"Let me go!" I screamed, "My parents are in there!" It was no use. I slid to the ground sobbing. I sensed someone crouch beside me, and I looked up to see Jake. He wrapped his arms around me, and I sobbed into his chest. A paramedic came over a few minutes later.
"We couldn't find anybodies," He explained, "The fire burned everything in the house. We're sorry." I nodded as more tears started to fall.
"We better go tell Joesph," Jake said helping me to my feet. I took one look at the remains of the house before walking away into the cold, dark night.
* * * * *

Yes I know depressing! But it's what happened. It's what made Jade the person who she is in my book. She hardly trusts anyone and she isn't too nice sometimes. What do you expect from a hurt teen? Tell me what you think! :D

Bollywood

Ok so I've been needing new story ideas to mess around with and I asked one of my friends who has really enjoyed my stories and she gave me the idea for it to take in Bollywood India. Well this is what I got from it :)

"Woah! Look Jade it's an elephant!" Jake exclaimed staring out of the small taxi window.

"Yes Jake I've seen at least ten of those now," I said rolling my eyes.

"Well sorry I was sleeping."

"Your always sleeping."

"You point?"

"Jake," I sighed rubbing my temples, "The boss sent us here on an important mission. We're suppose to be serious about this." He leaned across the seat pressing his lips against mine.

"I know," He said tucking a piece of hair behind my ear, "We can have a little of fun while we guard the princess right? I mean come on we're in India for Pete sakes!" I laughed kissing him again. The driver yelled something in Indian, and we both laughed. It was a ten minute drive to the mansion where the princess lived. A winding cobble stone drive way lead up to the front door where a serious man waited to greet us.

"I'm guessing that's his highness himself," Jake stated as the car stopped. We stepped out of the car as the taxi driver grabbed our things.

"You must be Mr. Darklight and Miss. Jackson," The king said, "It is a pleasure to have you two here. Please follow--" A scream ripped through the air and something crashed from inside. A girl dressed in an Indian dress with a bead on her forehead stormed out of the house. I looked at Jake as his eyes widened.

"Father I--" She stopped short when she saw me, and her mouth dropped open.

"Abirami," The king smiled, "These are your new bodyguards."

"Ok I'm freaked out," Jake stated looking between the princess and I. We had the exact same hair and facial expressions, but our eyes were completely different colors, her's were a dark exotic brown, mine were a bright green.

The king looked at both of us for the first time, "My goodness! This is odd. Well I will leave you all to get to know each other. Good day." He left into the house where two guards met up with him. The princess waited till her father was out of site and then got up close in my face.

"Listen here guard," She hissed her voice dripping venom, "I don't need no 'bodyguard' ok? So you just mind your business and I'll mind mine. Sound good?" I cocked and eyebrow and gentle pushed away from her.

"No that doesn't sound good," I stated, "Your father hired us to guard you cause of the terrorist attack." The princess rolled her eyes and folded her arms.

"I don't care. I can handle some idiot terrorists. Just leave me be. Got it?" She said and stalked back into the house.

"Ouch," Jake said, "Something tells me she doesn't like us"

"No? Really?" I said laughing, "Let's get our stuff." We grabbed our duffle bags and walked up the walkway into the front entrance. Two flights of grand stairs cases made out of white marble. The area in between lead into a pure white room with a grand piano. A butler stood at the end of the stairs waiting for us.

"My name is Joesph," He said in a weird accent, "I will be showing you to your rooms." He lead us up the stairs to the right and down a wide hallway with a designer rug adjourned with beads on the edges. He stopped in front of two open doors across from each other.

"These will be your rooms for your stay," Joesph said, "If you need anything just pick up the phone by the bed."

"Thank you," I said. He nodded and left the way we had come.

"See you in a minute?" Jake said as he headed to the door on the left.

"Ok and then we'll go take a look around," I replied and he nodded.

I stepped into the room and instantly smelt a strong scent of roses. My head started to throb as I walked all the way in. Flower petals were scattered over the white sheets and floor of the room. I'd never seen so much white in my life. An elephant statue sat in the far corner made out of white marble like the stairs. I walked over and reached out to touch it.

"We are not suppose to touch any elephant statues," A voice scolded behind me. I turned to see
Abriami leaning against the door frame. She wore dark red robes with a scarf wrapped around her head. He walked into the room shutting the door behind her.

"Look I'm sorry about earlier," She said, "It's just, to tell you the truth, I'm frightened. I was attacked at school by one of the terrorist. It's why my father pulled me out and hired you. I never wanted any of that to happen." She sat down on the bed, and I didn't know what to do.

"I'm sorry," I said.

"Tomorrow is my birthday party and all of my friends are coming. My father has considered canceling my party! What am I to do?" She threw her arms up in the air and laid down on the bed.

"Um," I shifted from one foot to the other nervously, "If you want I could talk to him. You know get him to let you."

"You'd do that?"

"Sure."

"Oh thank you!" She jumped up and gave me a hug, "Before the party you can so wear something of mine! You'll fit right in. We can even find Jake something." She smiled from ear to ear. I laughed smiling back. A light knock came on the door.

"Anyone home?" Jake asked as he came in, "I can see your both enjoying yourselves." Abirami scowled at him leaving the room. He looked at me confused.

"Don't worry about it," I laughed, "Let's go check out the grounds." I placed my bag on the bed and grabbed my small sliver dagger from the the bottom. I slipped it into the sheath around my waist and headed out the door.

"Hey I want to try something," I said as we got to the stairs. He looked at me puzzled as I jumped on the railing and slid down to the bottom. He laughed following my lead. The house had a total of 20 doors. We didn't dare open all of them. There was a double floor library, a gourmet kitchen, and a grand theater with a balcony and concession stand.

"Ok I'm never leaving," Jake said jumping into a giant bean bag. I jumped on the other side sending him rolling off. I laughed, and he jumped on sending me flying. We both started laughing. Someone cleared their voice above us, and we stood up.

The king stared down at us, "I can see you have found your way around."

"Yes your majesty," Jake said, "Your house is very nice."

"Um... sir can I talk with you privately?" I questioned.

"Come up to my study. Last door on the right down the left hall," He stated. I nodded and left the room. I found the king sitting in a room surrounded by floor to ceiling book shelves. A wide widows was behind his desk. He sat behind the elegant wooden desk and I sat down in one of the chairs in front of it.

"What was it you needed to talk to me about?" he asked.

"Um.... Your daughter said she had her party coming up tomorrow," I said.

"She isn't having it," He stated.

"Sir hear me out," I sighed, "It's a special day for your daughter and you didn't hire Jake and I for no reason. Were the best in our school. Please let her have her party. I assure you that we will keep her safe." The king looked at me for a while studying me.

"If you fail me Miss Jackson my full rag will come out," He said.

"I understand," I replied. I got up to leave.

"Jade?" He said, and I turned around, "I trust you." I nodded leaving the room.

* * * * *

"Hold still," I let out a cough as Abirami put more powder on my face, "There! You look amazing." I turned around looking at my face in the vintage table mirror.

"Wow," I gasped. I wore a black Indian dress. My hair was pulled back and curled. I didn't want to upset Abirami on her birthday so I had let her completely dress me up. We heard the doorbell ring.

"Party time!" Abirami squealed. She grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the room. Jake stood leaning on the banister by the stairs. He looked up when he saw us coming.

"You both look amazing," Jake complimented. Abirami blushed and headed down the stairs.

"I'll be closer to Abirami tonight," I said, "You can be around in the crowd. Talk with some of the the people. We need to find-" He pressed his lips against mine.

"You talk way too much," He said pulling away.

"And you don't talk enough," I shot back. He laughed, and I walked down the stairs. Teens wearing different outfits filed in through the doors heading for the doors to the outside deck or the theater down the hall or down the stairs where there was a giant ballroom.

"Hey Abirami!" A boy with dark hair wearing a black robe with red lining walked up to me, "I've been looking everywhere for you. I want to show you something outside." He grabbed my hand and tugged me outside. Soft music played from the DJ stand on the balcony above the yard. The boy pulled me till we were out of site of the house.

"Hey um, I'm not-" He put a finger to my lips.

"I'm sorry. They paid me," He said as several dark figures advanced forward from the foliage. I clenched my teeth hard together and kicked out at the closest figure who caught my foot. He twisted it hard at the wrong angle, and I tried to scream out in pain by a cloth was wrapped around my mouth.

"So sorry princess," A bulky figure said spraying something in my face and the world blacked out.

* * * * *

(Ok I'm about to try something totally new! I'm going to do a part from Jake's point of view! EEEKKK! Here's what I came up with)

I stood on the balcony of the mansion. The DJ was blaring music next to me, and I watched the teenagers dancing below. I wanted to be down there dancing with Jade. Just me and her, but it was never like that. Always something getting in the way. I sighed watching the different colored outfits sway to the beat of the music. I didn't wear the same outfit as most of the teen boys. I stayed with my comfy worn jeans, dark tee, worn sneakers and a thin Nike jacket that matched Jade's. A quick movement through the crowd caught my eye, and I saw a glimpse of Jade's dress. A boy with dark hair tugged her along down the hill where he thought he was out of site. Not out of my line of site though. Jade tried to explain something to the boy, but he stopped her. He said something and several dark figures advanced on Jade. I didn't hesitate as I jumped over the balcony and into the crowd below. Everyone looked at me, but I took off running down the hill. I made it to the area were the terrorist were, but the sound of a helicopter came from above descending down to the ground.

"No! JADE!" I exclaimed racing to the helicopter as it started to take off. I barely caught the ladder as it left the ground. I held on tightly as it was pulled up. When I came into view of the terrorist pulling up the ladder, and he was about to say something when I punched him in the face.

"What is going- Who the heck are you?!" Another terrorist exclaimed coming into the area. I hit him hard with my foot, and he staggered toward me and out the helicopter. I watched him fall and felt the barrel of the gun being pressed into the small of my back and cursed.

"That was not a smart move boy," A husk voice said, "You must be the princess's new body guard no? Sit down." I did what he said. He still pointed the gun at me as he shut the door to the helicopter. He had a long gray beard and wore dark robes like the boy I had seen.

"What's your name?" He barked.

"William," I said not daring to give my real name, "William Stride."

"I've never heard of you, William Stride," The man huffed, "How are you a body guard for the princess at such a young age?"

"I've been trained," I said.

"Well you haven't been trained that well," He stated hitting me on the head with the butt of the gun. Shearing pain shot through my body, and I heard him laugh as everything faded to darkness.

* * * * *

(Ok back to Jade.)

I woke up to find myself tied to a pole in a ware house. I laid on the cold hard floor and my body ached for sleeping wrong. I rearranged my hands before sitting up. Several crates were stacked around the area, and a guard patrolled at the end of the stacks. I heard him shout something in a different language, and a man with a gray beard wearing robes like the boy who had brought me to this fate. He came towards me towering over me. He crouched down running a finger along by face stopping on the scar running from my eye to my jaw. He looked me in the eyes and said something I couldn't understand.

"You are no the princess," He growled.

"No duh!" I hissed. I kicked out with my feet hitting him square in the jaw. His head snapped back hard, but he recovered fast.

"You," He shouted pointing to the guard at the end of the crates, "Come grab her." The guard obeyed coming behind the pole to unlock the chains. I gave a small smile causing the old man in front of me too look confused. The chains slackened, and I knocked the man off his feet bolting down the row of crates.

"GET HER!" The man shouted. I didn't look behind me as I rounded the corned almost running into a bulky man.

"Hi," I said, and he snorted. The other guard stood behind me. Trapped? Not likely. I grabbed onto the crate next to me and jumped on top. I hopped up on the crates till I reached the top I looked down over the warehouse and spotted Jake tied to a chair in the far corner. How did he get here? No time to think about that. I looked above me at the rafters that looked like monkey bars. I jumped up grabbing on to the nearest bar. I swung myself from bar to bar till I came to the pile of crates closest to Jake. He kept struggling against the ropes restraining him to the chair.

"Psst! Jake!" I whispered. His head snapped up looking around the room. I gave a little wave, and he smiled. I slowly climbed down the crates and crept over to him.

"Do I want to know how you got here?" I asked untying him from the chair.

"Probably not," He replied. I nodded looking around the area.

"Any idea where a door is?" I said. Jake looked around and then pointed.

"There," He said, and we took off running to it. We opened it up into the cold night air. Jake pulled out his cellphone.

"Here you call," He said.

"Why?" I asked

"Cause we have company," He stated pointing to a group of angry terrorist coming towards us. Jake dashed forward as I pounded the numbers on the phone. The boss picked up after three rings.

"Darklight? What's wrong?" He said.

"It's Jade," I said, "Jake and I found the terrorist, We need re-" The phone was snatched from my hand, and I turned around to see the old man behind me.

"You thought you could get away that easily?" He laughed, "Think again." I grabbed me by the arm pinning it painfully behind my back. Jake fought hard against the last guard, and I watched as the guard fell.

"Oh boy!" The man shouted, "Look who I have!" I saw the glint of a dagger as he raised it to my neck.

"Let her go!" Jake shouted enraged.

"So you know her?" The man said running the tip of the dagger along my face, "She must be of some importance to come after her no?" He let out a laugh pressing the dagger into my cheek a bit.

"STOP!" Jake exclaimed.

"Surrender boy," He stated, "I want you to beg for mercy!" He moved the dagger down to my arm drawing more blood. Jake's eyes start to water and tears spilled over. A bright light shown down on the man suddenly.

"Give up York!" A voice shouted from the helicopter.

He huffed, "Fine, but I'm not going down alone." She drove the dagger into my side, and I screamed out of pain as he released me putting his hands above his head. Jake ran to my side slowly pulling the dagger out. I let out shaky breath trying to control my breathing. Jake wrapped his arm around me as familiar figures dropped from the sky. My head started to spin and soon I blacked out.

* * * * * *

I could feel the bright lights shining on me. I slowly opened my eyes to the white hospital room.

"Hey," Jake softly said beside me, "How you feeling?"

"Like I died and came back," I said hoarsely. He laughed, and I examined myself. My arm and side were wrapped up, and I could feel some kind of bandage on my cheek.

"Did they-?" I asked, but couldn't finish my sentence.

"Yeah," Jake said sticking a piece of hair behind my ear, "The princess and her family are safe now." I smiled closing my eyes.

"Thanks for coming after me," I said.

"You know I'd never let them take you," He stated and gentle kissed me.

* * * * *

Ok so that is the end of it. Yes I know super long! My longest yet! I would like to give thanks to my friend Sarah s. Thank you so much for the idea! I had fun with it! Hope you all enjoy! Tell me what you think!

p.s. I have no idea why everything is in doble spacing. Sorry! :)

First meeting

I have been going nuts ever since lunch today! Well considering when you find out something amazing you start to get crazy story ideas. I've decided to write how Jake and Jade met. :) Here we go:

The mall was crowded with the many black Friday shoppers. I sat with my legs crossed watching people cram into stores dying for the great deals. I took a sip of my orange juice from the Styrofoam cup I held. My dark hair was braid down my back and I wore a long black sleeve shirt with a dark green tank top on top. I wore my favorite brown vest with my favorite hidden pocket holding my dagger. A small bag sat at me feet with a stack of book inside. I didn't care for shopping, but for books.... I had to give in. I watched as a boy with shaggy blond hair and bright blue eyes passed me for the third time. I cocked an eyebrow as he disappeared into the crowd. I grabbed the bag at my feet and followed. It wasn't hard to tail the boy through the persistent shoppers. He took one look back at me, smiled, and took a sharp turn down an employees only hall.
"Where are you going?" I said under my breath. I checked behind me before ducking down the hall. He stood at the end with his arms folded.
"I suspected you'd follow," He stated.
"What do you expect when someone passes by you three times?" I retored, "What's your name?"
"Jake," He replied, "Jake Darklight."
"And I'm Luke," A voice said behind me grasping me hard around the chest. I smirked throwing him over my shoulder. He hit the ground with a whoosh as the air left his lungs. I grabbed my dagger from it's pocket and pressed it to his neck. The boy Jake started to come toward me, but a girl with flowing blond hair came in grasping a similar dagger to mine.
"Not so fast cutie," She said. Jake stepped back a bit as I let Luke up.
"Who are you?" Luke panted.
"The name's Jade," I nodded, "Jade Jackson. This is my sister Ever. We work for the Jet society. We've been watching you for the past few days."
"I told you we were being followed! But noooo! You thought I was crazy!" Luke exclaimed shoving a finger in Jake's chest. Jake rolled his eyes.

"How long have you been on your own?" Ever asked.
"Two years," Jake sighed, "Our mom and dad died in a car accident. We ran away from our foster home."
"Then you'll fit right," I said and they both smiled.
* * * * *

Ok so that's just a little bit. They're all around 12. Jade and Ever were 8 when they came into the Jet society officially. They're parents had worked for it since they were teens. I might post some other little random behind the scene stories idk. Tell me what you think. :)

Sanditron: Prologue

Ok be warned this is the prologue for my book I'm writing and I'm not done revising the first chapter so bear with me. :) Here's the prologue:

"We can make it," Maria panted trying to convince herself. She held tight to sterling's limp form, praying he was still alive. Several parts of Maria's body screamed in pain, but she refused to give up.
"Maria," an eerie chorus of voices hissed.
"No," She gasped trying to hurry faster.
"Maria?" Sterling moaned. Maria set him up against a tree, and he tried to get up.
"Careful!" Maria exclaimed as he stumbled.
"What happened?" Sterling asked glancing around, "Where's the team? Are you okay?" Maria took a shaky breath as tears started to form in her eyes. She turned away from sterling only to feel him wrap his arms around her. She let the tears silently fall. Movement came from behind them followed by an eerie cackle. Maria felt sterling tense and turned around to look at him.
"Please tell me I'm hearing things," Sterling begged looking into the distance.
Maria started to sob, "No. I was barely able to get you away before you passed out. I thought I had lost them." Sterling's face turned hard and cold.
"How many?"
"We can't....fight them," Maria sniffed.

Sterling looked down at her, "Why?" Figures started to come through the foliage. Sterling counted four in all.
"No," Sterling gasped.
"Yes Jackson," the first figure, a chocolate brown skin colored boy, insisted, "You have lost."
"No!" Sterling growled, "I loose when I'm dead!"
"That can be arranged," The boy grinned. Two shadows appeared, the outlines matching Sterling's and Maria's Maria slid her hand into sterling's. His had started to course with a thin orange stratus cloud like substance. The shadows and figures hissed backing away. Sterling glanced over at Maria who's eyes had glazed over.

"Maria?" he said as she dropped his hand and walked forward, "Maria no!" It was too late. the shadow engulfed Maria as she let out a scream. Her irises grew over her eyes turning them completely black. She spun around smiling at Sterling.
"NO!" Sterling exclaimed dashing into the trees. He listened for persuit, but none followed. He stumbled onto the familiar cobblestone pathway.
"So close," Sterling sighed. he looked over to the left to see the big giant door in the side of the mountain. He ran his fingers along the vines on the door. He found the small hole and pulled the silver necklace from around he neck. He pressed the small sliver 'S' into the hole, and a bright light shot out. A series of clicks sounded when the light receded. The door popped open a crack, and sterling could feel the cool breeze coming from beyond. He looked back into the trees and felt tears flow down his cheeks.
"Goodbye," He whispered and stepped through the door.
67 years later

Dissaperance (part 3)

OK so this is continuing from my last post. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do for it, but I got it walking home from walmart. :)

I woke to the jolt of movement and banged my head against something hard. I groaned lifting my hand to my head and instantly wished I was dead. My hair was done in a thousand ringlets of curls and I wore a long flowing red dress with a sequence of gems at an angle. I sat up on the seat of a car. The windows were too tinted to see anything, but I could tell by the movement I was in a car. The car screeched to a halt, and I grasped the side for reassurance. The door opened and light streamed in. I was in the back of a limo and outside I could hear the traffic of down town New york. A chauffeur stood with the door open, but I didn't go near it.
"Do what I say or you'll never see your precious Jake again," A voice spoke into my ear, and I felt the tinny speaker. I growled stepping out of the car. A red carpet lead from the car up to the front door of an elegant hotel. Swarms of photographers stood by the sides of the carpet held back by police guards. I stumbled as I walked down the carpet in high heels. I was going to kill James. I took one look over my shoulder catching the eye of a familiar photographer aiming his camera straight at me, before I disappeared into the hotel.
The main lobby was decorated with elegant furniture and a giant chandelier in the middle. People filed toward a pair of double doors leading into a grand ballroom. I spotted James standing by the door in a soft gray tux. He smirked when he saw me and held out he arm. I took a deep breath and slid my arm through. I pushed down the chills going up and down my spine as we made our way into the ballroom. Soft classical music played from a band set up by floor to ceiling windows. A balcony surrounded the area and people miled around on top.
"Ah, Mr. Holler we've been expecting you," I looked up to see a man with white hair wearing a plain white tux that if you starred at it too long you'd go blind, "Who is this fine young lady?" He took my hand kissed it. I keep my face cold and hard holding back the urge to slap him.
"This would be Jade Jackson," James stated. The man's face turned white as he stared from me to James.
"James-" The man said.
"No worries sir," James reassured, "She can't do any harm. I have something... close to her." He wrapped his arm around my waist, and I caught a sudden movement from the balcony above.
"No harm?" I smirked. James and the man looked at me with confused looks. I shoved James hard to the side, and a dark suited figure yanked me up onto the balcony.
"Jackson!" James shouted, "Did you forget our deal?"
"The deals off James," Jake leaned over the balcony still holding tight to my waist, "You should consider hiring new guards." We rose up out of the ballroom toward a helicopter.
"Nice disguises back there," I said as we got into the helicopter.
"It wasn't that hard," He said, "Your the one that was hard to find." He pulled me toward him and kissed me wrapping his finger in my curls.
"Woah! Trying to fly here!" A male voice shouted from the front.
"Then don't watch Luke!" Jake shot back, and he laughed as we flew over the bright lights of New York City.
* * * * *

Ok so I really like this one, but I would like to hear what you think. Leave me a comment. :) THANKS! :D

Dissaperance (part 2)

OK I was reading over the last one and it was really rushed. I apologize for that and I will work on making it sound less rushed. Here's what I got:

I sat in the crowded coffee, my feet propped up on the table and a smoothie in my hand. I sat by the window watching the late employees rush to the tall skyscrapers lined up along the streets. A girl with flowing blond hair slid into the chair across from me. A hat was pulled down low covering her face.
"You know it's not polite to put your feet on the table," She stated.
"It's not polite to tell someone what to do," I shot back. I saw a smile creep onto her face as she looked up at me.
"What are you doing here Jade?" She asked.
"You should know me by now Ever," I replied, "Jake went on a mission. James kidnapped him."
"Typical," She nodded, "You always seem to have an old rival on your hands." I rolled my eyes taking a drink of my smoothie.
"I need your help."
"Guessed that. What with?"
"The normal stuff," I grinned. She laughed and stood up.
"Shall we head to my place?" She asked. I nodded following her out of the shop. We made our way down the street and into the subway. We boarded and found a spot away from the people.
"How long?" She asked.
"A day."
"So not that long?"
"Long enough for me. I knew he shouldn't have gone."
"And you didn't tell anyone?"
"When do I tell other people what I'm doing?"
"True," We both stared out the window as the subway screeched to a sudden stop. Ever looked at me with a worried look.
"We apologize for the inconvenience," A familiar voice came over the intercom, "We've run into a problem. Could we have Jade Jackson come to the front of the car?"
"Great," I huffed pulling out my pocket knife making my way to the front of the car. The door to the driving area opened, and I looked over my shoulder to see Ever right behind me.
"Stay here," I insisted, "I don't want anything to happen to you too." She sighed, but nodded. I took a deep breath stepping into the dim area of the driving coach. The door slammed behind me and single light came on over James who sat in the conductor's chair.
"There's my favorite girl!" He exclaimed smiling. I flipped open my pocket knife and growled.
"I'm not your girl Holler," I hissed.
He laughed, "Your his though." Jake was shoved into the light, and he fell to his knees. He had a long gash running down his left arm, and his face was twisted in pain.
"Jade," He panted when he saw me. He collapsed forward onto the ground and laid there motionless. James laughed as I tried to run towards him, but hands grasped my arms hard.
"Let him go Holler!" I shouted struggling against the guards that towered over me.
"No can do," James tsked, "You see I have a plan, and I need you to cooperate." He picked Jake up and shoved him into a near by chair. I tried to kick out at one of the guards, but they squeezed harder on my arms. I clenched my teeth ignoring the pain.
"Tie her up," James commanded and the guards threw me into the conductor's chair and quickly tied me to it. The ropes bit into my ankles and my arms. The texture of the ropes made my the skin it touched turn red and burn.
"I wouldn't struggle if I were you," James explained, "The rope is make of a fine brand of hair imported from china. If you move too much then it will just burn straight through your skin." He got close in my face and I spit hitting him in the eye. He wiped it and slapped me hard across the face.
"You're going to regret that," He said, and a fowl smell entered my nose and I passed out.

I really like this one. It's more slower and I got to add in my twin's character so yea. Tell me what you think. :)

Disappearance (part 1)

Ok so this is just a little bit of random. Kinda need to do something to keep my mind occupied.

"A week?" I gapped plopping down on the edge of his bed.
"Yup," He sighed zipping up his bag. I put my hand on top of the bag, and he set his on top.
"Do you have to go?" I asked trying not to cry.
"You know what the boss said," he insisted, "besides I'll be back before you know it." He put a hand on my cheek and I put my hand on top of his. He kissed me, and I let the tears flow.
"Why are you crying?" He asked brushing my tears away.
"I'm afraid I'll loose you, or worse," I sniffed. He kissed me again this time longer.
"You'll never loose me," He soothed. The door opened, and a women in a pin stripped suit stepped in.
"Your car is ready, Mr. Darklight," She said leaving the room just like she had come in. I grabbed Jake's arm before he could leave. I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him like I never had before. He held me, and I never wanted him to leave. I didn't go with him to see him out. I watched from is window as the car pulled away down the gravel road toward somewhere unknown.
* * * * *
I spun the bow staff above my head as I made my way through the virtual training. I ran through the halls of a run down mansion with ripped curtains, and rotting carpet that made me gag. I heard the all too familiar laugh and froze on my tracks.
"Hello Jackson," I spun around to see him standing at the end of the hall. He blonde hair curly as ever, his pale green eyes shown from the light of the fading sun. He wore a graphic tee and faded jeans. Looking so ordinary, but no one knew what was really behind all the looks.
"What do you want holler?" I growled.
"Nothing," He smirked, "Except revenge." He pointed behind me and through a pair of doors I could see Jake strapped to a chair. Blood seeped from many gashes all over his body.
"Turn it off!" I screamed and the scene disappeared. I stormed over to the exit and down the hall. Techicians moved out of the way as I made my way to the booth above the training area.
"What was that!?" I exclaimed bursting into the room startiling several techicians. A boy with short brown hair leaned back in a chair with his hands clasped smiling at me.
"It's a new proto type," he explained. I slammed him up onto the control pannel his face turning.
"I swear you do that again and I'll kill you. Instantly," I growled. He nodded, and I let him go. I left the room ramming into someone.
"Jade," The women in pin stripped suit collected the papers she had dropped.
"Here let me help," I insisted. I helped grab the last of them, and we both stood up.
"Mr. Larn needs to speak with you," She told me.
"I'll head there now," I made my way down a series of hallways and stairs till I came to the headmaster's office.
"Come in Jackson," A voice said before I could knock. I walked into the room. A fire place to my left was on and the bookshelves around it seems to invite me in. I sat down into one of the chairs in front of the headmaster's desk. He white hair looked darker, and his face was solomn.
"What happened? Is Jake ok?" I asked before he could speak.
"His car was ambushed on the freeway. We lost contact with him not long after that," He explained, "We got a transmission from a boy by the name of James an hour later." I threw my hands up in frustration and shoved the chair back and headed for the door.
"Where are you going Jackson?" He questioned. I stopped in the door way and looked back at him.
"I'm going to go save Jake," I insisted.

Ok I will add on to this tomorrow. It is late and I have school tomorrow. Tell me what you think!

Hands

Yes two in one day. I saw a flair I wanted to write a story to. So here it is:

I stood in the cold wind on the top of the bleachers. The football game ragged on below, but I didn't care to watch. The marching band played all around me. I wasn't a part of it. Next year, but they accepted me, and I felt like I belonged. I rubbed my hands together trying to warm them up. No use. I let them fall to my side and felt someone reach a hand into mine. I looked up to see him staring into my eyes. His bright blue eyes I had come so comfortable looking into. His hand was cold like always, but I didn't let go.

Ok not that long, but still. I want this to happen with the guy I like right now! ARGH UGH UH! Ok Syd over and out.

Random

It's late at night I'm bored and well here is just a randomness story:

I let out my breath staring down the paved road with the trees above. The leaves fell slowly in various colors landing softly on the ground. I closed my eyes gripping the strap of my bag hard. What was I doing? I already knew the answer. I didn't know. This place brought back too many hard memories. A deep laugh came from behind me and my eyes flew open. I whirled around to find the road behind me empty. I felt something behind me and my hair lifted up. I heard him breath in the fresh scent of my hair.

"Still gorgeous as ever," He breathed into my ear running his long fingers down my arm, "Where's your boyfriend? Oh, wait, that's right you don't know." He let out a laugh, and I tried to hit him, but knew it was useless.

"Where. Is. He?" I said through clenched teeth.

"Oh I don't know," He sighed lifting up my arm, "So strong." I yanked my arm back and moved away from him. I faced him, hating him. His curly blonde hair, pale green eyes, how he looked at me.

"Why don't you just give up?" He insisted.

"Because he means more to me then you ever did," I shot back at him. His expression turned hard. He snapped his fingers, and a bound boy with shaggy blonde hair appeared.

"Jake!" I exclaimed, "Let him go Xander!" Xander grabbed Jake by his hair lifting him to his feet and placing a dagger at his throat.

"How could you like him Jade? You and I had so much together. Don't you remember this place?" he pleaded

"Why do you think I hate it so much?" I hissed, "This place is horrible for me, and all your doing is making it worse." Xander huffed shoving Jake forward.

"Fine," He said, "Take your stupid boyfriend and leave." He disappeared in a swirl of smoke, and I rushed to Jake's side. I unbounded his wrists and ankles, but he still stayed motionless.

"Jake," I whispered tears blurring my vision, "Jake answer me." I closed my eyes letting tears fall silently onto his face.

"Please don't cry," He barely said. I opened my eyes to see him looking up at me.

"I thought I might loose you," I sniffed.

"You'll never loose me," He insisted pulling me toward him. He pressed his lips against mine and I lost myself on that dirt road that held so many bad memories.

Ok like I said totally random, but I really like it. Tell me what you think! :)

Carnival

Ok so I saw despicable me again today and one of the parts kinda made me want to write something having to do with that, but I didn't know how. So here is just some brain storming and I might have just thought of how it will work. :)

I sat on the bench in the crowded park scanning the faces of pedestrains.
"Any sign of him?" A voice spoke into my headphones.
"Nope," I sighed pretending to change the song on the ipod, "I'm going to walk around." I got up off the bench and waved into the crowd. Carnival day. One of the busiest days of the year. Jake was on the opposite end of the square watching the state football game on the big screen in the tv shop. Typically. Smells of popcorn, chicken, candy, and various others filled the air. A cold breeze blew through my hair as I moved past a group of teens.
"I hate crowds," I said to Jake making him laugh. I grew closer to his area and connected eye contact with him.
"Jade!" He exclaimed as someone grabbed my from behind. A cloth went around my mouth and a foul smell entired my nose causing my body to go numb.
"Hello Jackson," A voice said into my ear.
"Xander," My voice came out slured. I felt a sharp point in my back and watched as Jake rushed toward us.
"Not so fast pretty boy," He warned, "One move and this knife goes through her side." Jake's face turned to worry. People had stopped watching the scene unfold. Great. The effects of the cloth were starting to wear off, but Xander kept a tight grip on me and the knife bit hard into my side. I winced unable to do anything.
"What do you want Xander?" Jake growled.
"You know what I want," Xander hissed, "I want you people to stop following me."
"Then maybe you shouldn't have done what you did," I said my voice normal.
"Shut up!" He barked the knife digging into my side. I bit my lip trying not to scream.
"Let. Her. GO!" Jake exclaimed pulling out his pistol.
"I don't think so," He grinned shoving the knife in all the way and I screamed, "You were warned." He released me and took off. My knees buckled under me, and I grasped my side. Jake ran to my side.
"Everyone's watching," I breathed hard into Jake's ear.
"We got to play it off," He insisted, "Can you get up?"
"I have to," I said. I took a shaky breath rising to my feet.

"And that concludes tonights performance! Thanks for watching folks!" Jake announced playing the lie smoothly. The crowd applauded, and we bowed. We left before anyone could come up to us.
"Can you make it to the road?" Jake asked holding onto me.
"I don't-" I trailed off as my vision blurred, and I passed out.

Ok not how I planned it to go, but it worked. :) Tell me what you think and if you want me to continue. I might add some more onto it. ;)

Crowd

I found myself trapped among the thousands of people milling around the area. My eyes swept the area, searching.
"You seem out of it today," Jake said whispering into my ear. I leaned against the chain link fence at the top of the stadium. His hand wrapped in mine warming my frozen fingers.
"I'm always out of it," I reminded him. He smiled watching the football team on the field below. Dark clouds loomed over head, and the pep band played around us. I lifted my head to the sky and felt a rain drop splash against my cheek. The soft smell of rain blew with the wind, and it started to pour. I felt the cold water seep through my clothes letting my worries wash away with it.
"Jade," Jake softly said. I turned to him as he pulled me close. He kissed me and I felt his wet hair against my forehead. His warm lips pressing against mine. A kiss in the rain.
"Touch down! Knights win!" The crowd erupted in cheers, but I heard nothing losing myself in his arms.

Ok totally random off the top of my head really didn't know what to do and wanted to write something. Tell me what you think! :D

Random :)

The sun shown brightly through the thick forest blinding my vision. I threw up my hands to sheild my eyes pressing forward. I came to the edge of the cliff where it gave way into a pit of nothingness. This was it? This was all that was left? The sun started to fade down into the gloomy depths. I stood there with my hands in my pockets till the sun completely disapear. The world blacked out except for the faint light at the bottom of the gloom. I took a deep breath, spread out my arms, and jumped.

New idea

Ok this is an idea I'm kinda playing around with and I'm just going to do the prologue and first chapter/part of it. Hope you'll like it:

"No! You can't do this!" My mother screamed struggling against the soldiers. I stood against the far wall of our front froom nest to my twin brother. My feet were cold on the bare wood floor, and I held tight to my teddy bear in my arms. Soldiers towered above me trying to block my view of the scene unfolding.

"This is wrong!" My father exclaimed, "You can't do this! They're only children!"

"Children, Mr. Jacobson, are dangerous," A tall man walked into the room starring over at us, "They are the future rulers of the world. They need to be taught discipline." He stalked over to where I was, the guards parting for him. He knelt down in front of me and looked into my eyes. He took one look at my parents and slapped me hard across the face. My brother dove at the man punching him repeatedly in the face. Several guards pulle dhim off pinning him to the wall. I watched not understanding, my emotions completely voidless.

"Take them away!" The tall man commanded, "Except her." He pointed at me.

A small voice unseen whispered into my ear, "You hate this man, and you always will." I glared up at the man knowing it was true. My parents screamed as they were dragged out the front door. The guards started to drag my brother out, but I grasped tight to his hand. The guards groanded and detatched my hand.

"Josh!" I cried out stumbling after him. A wall of guards blocked me, and I fell to my knees crying. The tall man stood in front of me.

"You belong to me now."

10 Years later....

"Slave! Slave! Argh! Where is that child!" The woman paced the library infuriated. I hated her just as much as her husband. I took a deep breath walking around the corner into the library.

"You ran madame?" I resisted clenching my teeth together.

"Could you please explain to me about this mess? I thought I told you to clean this up!" She said gesturing to the library. The only area that was a mess was the window seat.

"I'll get right on that ma'am," I said.

"Betta," She huffed stomping out of the room. I smiled a half smile closing hte door to the library. I moved over to the window seat and examined my collection of books. I sighed putting the books onto the shelf I had claimed as books I had already finished reading. My mother had taught me how to read a bit before the new government was passed. It was my only escape from the horrible work of eveyrthing. I dropped a book as a scream sounded from somewhere in the mansion. The door to the library flew open as I put the last book in my hand onto the shelf.
"YOU!" A girl with wild hot pink hair stood in the door way.
I sighed, "Yes Sophie?" She stomped across the room and slapped me hard in the face.
"How dare you!" She screamed in my face.
"Have I done something wrong?' I questioned. She slapped me again across the other cheek.
"Sophie!" An older boy burst into the room panting hard, "Leave her alone!"
"She did it though!" Sophie cried, "I know she did Ander!" She brought up her hand to strike me again, but Ander caught it.
"No," He said sternly, "I did." Sophie wheeled on him in horror. I felt like I was watching an old soap opera.
"Why?" She asked barely audible.
"Mom and Dad both agreed you were not ready to handle your own slave. Dad pu thim to work in the vineyard."
"That's so unfair!" Sophie screeched.
"I don't have my own yet Sophie."
"You get two next week!"
"True," He said, "But remember that you just got out of treatment. It's been two years for me. Your still a bit untable." She sighed leaving the room.
"Are you ok?" Ander asked me. I glared returning to cleaning up my spot.
"I understand if you hate me," He sighed. I huffed. He moved closer to me. I sensed him reach a hand toward me, and I shot away from him.
"Don't. Touch. Me." I growled.
He gave and evil smile, "I own you slave. As of tomorrow you'll belone to me along with another slave my parents bought." He got closer to me with each word he spoke.
"No," I gasped.
"Yes," He whispered into my ear standing right next to me. He stepped behind me running a single finger up my bare arm. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up, and a shiver ran down my spine. He twirled a piece of hair from my pony tail. I let out a shaky breath feeling completely defenceless.
"Are you scared, Jacqueline?" He breathed into my ear. I wante dto reply, I wanted to scream, but I did the only thing I could do. I spun around and spit right in his face. I dashed out of the room and down the hall. He didn't follow me, which scared me when I hear his low laugh echo from the library. I made my way out the back door toward the run down old house that served as the slaves' home. There were fifteen of us on the estate. Soon to be sixteen. Sixteen. The word was a dread to all kid slaves. The day of your sixteenth started the six months of "Treatment" or in my terms Brainwashing. It was late March on the estate. Things were starting to thaw out from the long winter. You could hear the workers in the blooming vineyard working to keep it green. A cool breeze blew through the air as I burst into the house and tumbled onto my bunk. 20 das till I turned sixteen. All I could do was fear. I buried my head in my pillow and let out a long scream till my throat ached. I felt a small hand press against my cheek.
"Jacq? Are you ok?" A small innocent voice asked. I glanced up to see a small girl with strawberry blong hair pulled back into two braids that needed to be redone. The youngest of the slave, only eight. So young.
"Yeah Tally," I coughed, "I'm okay." She gave a bright smile and started to tug my sleeve.
"Come on," She insisted, "We have to go meet the new boy." So it's a boy, I thought. We made our way to the yard where a group of kids had gathered. The sound of a car engine came from down the road and soon a government van pulled up. Three guards stepped out of the van. One man you could tell was the cheif officer.
"Who's the oldest?" He asked. I dropped Tally's hand and stepped forward.
"I expect you will train this boy and tell him the rules?" He insisted and I nodded, "Good slave. Bring him out boys!" I heard a howl from the back fo the van, and one of the guards flew through the air. The new comer jumped out of the van. His bright red hair like a flame matched his anger. His bright green eyes burned with hate. He took one look at us and took off running. I darted after him and tackled him to the gorund. I pinned his arms on his bakc and pressed him hard into the dirt.
"Who the heck are you?" He hissed.
"Nothing more then a slave yourself, Josh," I said recieving a raised eyebrow, "Your not escaping. You should know better by now by how many scars you have on your back. Don't try to run. There's no escape ever." The guards came up to where we were.
"That was mighty fast," The cheif puffed, "The General has a loyal slave on his hands." I rolled my eyes. So dim witted.

"I'll take care of him sir," I replied, "I know how busy you are and everything."
"Well thank you," The chief grinned, "Let's head out boys." I waited till the government car disappeared down the road.
"Who are you and how do you know so much about me?" Josh asked.
I gave a small smile letting him up, "You and I my friend are far more closer than you imagine, and I've seen what happens to slaves who run away." He looked me up and down resting his gaze on my face.
"You look familiar I'll admit that," He said, "But I don't know you."
"The name's Jacq," I sighed giving up, "Jacqueline. I was seperated from my parents and brother when I was five. I have a photographic memory. Oh last think, I'm boss. You run away I get punished too. Don't break the rules or I'll kill you before they do." I jabbed a finger into his chest turned around and started to walk away.
"Jacqueline?" He asked.
"Yes?" I replied looking back at him.
"Your eyes," He stated.
"What about them?"
"Nothing. Never mind."
"You'll be in the vineyard. Meet Massen at 12 am. If you can't tell time then learn." I left him standing in the yard not knowing quite what to do.

Elevator

Ok first a little background behind this story. I couldn't sleep and it was around 2 in the morning and I had a flash of my character being bond and thrown into an elevator. It took me a few days to decide how to work it out. Hope you enjoy. ;)

"Argh!" I grunted throwing someone over my shoulder. I breathed hard as someone from above clapped. i grinned looking up at Jake. He jumped down from the observation deck and landed a few feet away.
"My turn," He stated taking a fighting stance. I wiped my brow and closed my eyes. When I opened them he stood in front of me.
"Don't hold back," He whispered into my ear.
I leaned close to him almost about to kiss him, "Never." I pinned him to the ground before he could blink.
"Jackson! Darklight! My office. NOW!" A man bellowed from the observation deck. I let Jake up, and we made our way o the exit.
"Something must be wrong," I said, "He hasn't been this mad siince-" I trailed off picking up my pace.
I burst into Joseph's office, "Where?"
"Tonight at a formal convention at a hotel in the city." He explained, "How did you know?"
"Your never that mad unless it's them," I replied, "What's our plan?"
"You and Jake will go in undercover," He explained, "Find out what their motives are. You'll have to go do a bit of shopping for a tux and dress. We'll supply wigs, contacts, and some disquesed weapons. Get moving." I turned and left with Jake trailing behind me.
"I'm so lost," I spit out.
I laughed, "I thought so. Raja and Violet are going to be at a convention. We need to find out why they're there."
"Okay," He said, "now I got it." I held up a wad of cash.
"Up for some shopping?" I questioned.
"Watching you try on dresses? Can I grab my camera?" He joked. I slugged him in the arm, and we raced down the hall.

* * * * *

"Would you like to dance?" I hared Jake ask a blond in a fluffy pink dress. She giggled taking his hand. I gagged leaning against the balcony rail. Below was a giant foyer filled with people. Everyone was dressed in formal wear. Jake's hair was temporarily dyed black, and he wore a nice pure black tux with a dark forest green tie. He didn't look at all like himself, but who was I to talk. My dark brown hair was concealed under a curly red wig with the sides pinned back. I wore a black dress with tulu and small jewels on the skirt area and the chest and tie around my neck leaving the middle area plain silk. I felt completely different, but that was how it was suppose to be. I watched Jake twirl the blond around the dance floor passing a couple. The girl took a look at Jake over her partners shoulder.
"Violet's a few feet from you," I growled into my comm unit.
"I saw," Jake replied. I could see him glance up to where I stood.
"Jade!" He suddenly exclaimed. I felt someone grab me from behind and drag me away from the balcony edge. They quickly bond my hands and moved toward the elevator. The doors dinged open, and I was shoved hard to the ground of the elevator. Raja stepped in and pressed the first level button.
"Bravo Jackson. Your disguise is amazing, sadly, you missed the scar," He traced the scar on the side of my face. The door dinged and Violet stepped in with Jake. I slammed my feet into Raja's chest causing him and Violet to tumble out of the elevator. I hit a floor button and the doors closed.
"What's the plan?" Jake asked untying my hands.
"Get out of here?" I suggested, "Any idea why they were here?"
"Yeah," He said, "When I was dancing with the blond girl she kept rambling about her father showing a new battle armor he designed. It can withstand any degree of fire."
"They think it can deflect sunergy!" I exclaimed yanking out my phone, "I need the Jet forces to the grand plaza hotel! NOW!"
"Be there in five!" Ever replied. The doors of the elevator opened onto the third floor. I dashed over to the balcony over looking the convention. The blonde's dad stood on a stage a the entrance of the hotel.
"Welcome my friends," his voice boomed over the sound system, "I am proud to introduce..... The Fire 13!" The crowd erupted in cheers as some technicians brought out a transparent suit that looked like a jogging suit.
"Where are they?" Jake asked anxiously. I scanned the crowd and caught the glint of something towards the front.
"There!" I exclaimed pointing to where I saw the glint. "Raja has a dagger!" I pulled out a stick from my boots and snapped my boy to full size. I grabbed an arrow from my other boot, aimed and fired. Someone in the crowd screamed as Raja fell to the ground the arrow lodged in his shoulder. The dagger skidded from his hand, and the crowd started to mumble. I shoved my bow back into my boot before someone noticed. Two familiar cops came in and dragged Raja away.
"Exciting night I take it?" Ever asked standing next to me.
"You have no idea," I grinned.

Welcome

This blog will be dedicated to short stories that I write. Most of them are just random and out of boredom. Feel free to tell me what you think. :) Syd over and out.
