Dream

(This story kinda came from a dream I had the other night)

I lay close to him starring down at the orange cirle branded on the black shorts I wore.
"You alright?" He asked gently stroking my hair. I let out a sigh clinging on tighter to him. You could hear the breathing of the other people in the room all sleeping in their bunks. I glanced up at the cieling as it seemed to bare down on us.
"Don't leave me," I barely whispered not sure if he heard me or not.
"I promise," He said soft. The door to the room burst open and an orange light filled the room.
"That's him!" I heard someone shout as they grabbed onto the boy.
"No!" I screamed as they pulled him away. He held onto my hand for a while till they pulled us apart. I felt tears flood to my vision and spill down my cheeks.

Hope

I stood there my hands plunged deep into my coat pockets.
"Jade," He said softly, and I looked up at him. He smiled, and I felt my cheeks flush. He walked over tucking a stray piece of my hair behind my ear.
"Why didn't you say something sooner?" I asked looking into his eyes.
"I didn't think you thought of me the same way," He stated placing a hand lightly on the small of my back. I leaned closer to him wanting this to be amazing and wonderful as I had always thought.
"I do though," I said softly. He smiled wrapping his arms around me pulling me close to him. I blushed more as he leaned down pressing his lips to mine. I kissed him back wrapping my arms around his neck. My first kiss. Simple and blissful.

Peace

I closes my eyes relaxing back in the softness of the reclining chair. I heard him move in the chair next to me and peaked out seeing him get up.
I groaned, "Not again." He came over onto my recliner, and I prepared for him to squish me. I blinked in surprise as he laid next to me, and I put my head on his shoulder. I felt him set his head ontop of mine and couldn't help but smile. I could have stayed like that forever as he put his arm around mine and gently kissed my head. I knew that he wouldn't tell me for a long while. I had the same feelings for him but neither of us dared to say so.
"We're friends Jade," I barely heard him say, but felt the tone in his voice of wanting different. Why couldn't he tell me? Because he knew I wouldn't be able to bring myself to tell him.

A helping hand

I felt them fall from my eyes before I could stop them. I let them fall putting my head in my hands sobbing. I could hear the distant sound of the voices shouting at one another.
"Make it stop," I cried softly, "Make it go away." My phone buzzed in my lap, and I glanced down chokign on a coming up sob at the sight of his number. I typed back through blurry tears feeling my heart yearn to feel his arms around me and to feel better. I clutched my phone ignoring all of the other texts besides his. Only wanting to hear from him. The thing that would help me relieve the pain of the world crashing down on me. I shuddering crying harder feeling my heart fill with relief.

Choices

I stood on the doorstep gazing back the closed wooden door.
"Coming?" a voice said from behind me and I looked over at the man waiting patiently. I took a deep breath a nodded knowing I would probably never come back. I could still hear the shouting from inside and a flood of reasurrence filled me and I followed the man not looking back at the house.

Sorrow

I stood there in the middle of the road as the rain fell in hard sheets hiding my tears, but not my cries. Cars zoomed past me on either side not a single one stopping to see if I was okay. I didn't care. I liked it that way. I let my body release the frustration, anger, pain, heart ache, and sorrow I had been holding in for so many weeks.

"Jade?" A voice said softly behind me. I wheeled around facing him. He held an umbrella sheilding himself from the rain that had made me soaked hours ago.

"Go away," I sniffed uselessly wipping at my eyes.

"Jade..." He said.

"I SAID GO AWAY ALEX!" I screamed shoving him. He stumbled falling to the wet asphault. I glarred down at him fresh tears falling from my eyes.

"I didn't mean to Jade," He stated.

"Liar!" I exclaimed, "I told you this! I told you I was afraid to tell you cause I knew this would happen!" I felt my body shudder from the cold and from the fresh sobs coming from me. I feel to my knees no longer hiding them. I heard him go to reach to me but then pull back. I waited wanting him to touch me, but he didn't. I could hear him as he walked away from me leaving me.

Council Meeting

I stood by the window gazing down at the burning buildings. The army attacked the unseen barrier around the castle, and I sighed giving it more strength.
"Jade," A voice said behind me, and I turned to face Jake. His blond hair was flecked with dirt, and his clothes had blood stained on them.
"I know," I stated following him along to the throne room that had a long table with tactics and battle plans stretched along it. People shouted all around the table pointing to the papers.
"Silence!" I shouted and they all looked up at me. I walked to the head of the table and stood there glaring at them for a long moment.
"I understand they've taken our gates. If you believe my barrier won't hold then you think wrong," I stated, "Where are our forces?"
A man cleared his throat pointing to a map of the kingdom, "We have a few at each gate but word from them hasn't come in a few days. The archers and soldiers here at the castle have been able to get some of the army down from the inside."
I nodded, "What about Jason and Jaden?"
"They haven't been spotted among the army your highness," A women said. I sighed running a hand in my short brown hair.

"I want to be notified if anyone spots them," I stated and Everyone around the table nodded, "We are not going to loose the kingdom."

Captured

I walked down the stairs flipping on the light and came down onto the small landing and looked down into the darkness of the basement. The light suddenly flicked off on the landing, and I felt something shove me down. I grunted falling in a heap at the bottom of the stairs. I groaned trying to push myself up, but felt the dark pressure around me keep me from moving.
"Why don't you just leave me alone!?" I shouted and a eerie laugh came through to my ears.
"This is war isn't it dear Jade?" He purred, and I could feel him standing close by me.
"I don't care! Leave me alone!" I shouted.
"Oh don't be like that. We wouldn't want the poor boy to be hurt," He stated, and a faint outline of a 12 year old boy appeared far off.
"Jason!" I screamed reaching out. I felt something step on my fingers and cried out.
"Mom!" Jason shouted.
"If you won't join us, he will," A voice snarled. I watched as dark figures started to drag Jason off.
"No!" I screamed tears running down my face. Laughter filled the area and the pressure left. I felt a gentle hand on my arm, but pulled away.
"Jade I'm sorry," I heard Jake say. I shook my head tears streaming down my face.

Control

I felt the rope bitting hard into my flesh everytime I moved. My wrists were bleeding and raw.
"Oh come now Jade," The voice inside my head hissed, "Just do it. It'll only be one time."
"No!" I screamed my body starting to shake. Why was it so hard to resist against it. I felt the ice cold feeling as his fingers touched my arms. I shivered closing my eyes.
"Look at me," He comanded, and I couldn't help but look up at the dark figure before me, "Why do you make it so hard?"
"Because Willow knows I'm stronger," I snarled.
He shook his head, "You are a foolish girl. Join us agian."
"Never," I growled.
"Do we have to kill you again?" He asked, and I felt the cold metal of a knife at my throat.
I laughed, "Like you haven't so many times before." I could sense him glarring at me as he walked around my confined space.
"You think you can win this war?" He questioned.
"I know We'll win this war," I stated feeling the knife scrap my cheek. I grunted blood seeping from it.
"Just give up!" He shouted.
"NEVER!" I shouted back.

"Fine," He huffed, and I felt intense pain wave over me before I passed out.

Assassins (part Luke!)

I looked up at him and sighed.
"You were right," I said, "I should have never joined, but I didn't have a say in it. Boss found me almost dying on the street. What was I suppose to do?"

Assassins (part God of Hunger)

I walked into the hide out following Zen and stood there not sayin a word as he delivered our message. He collected our reward and started to walk out. I stood there for a moment knowing that I could quit, but I thought other wise and turned following Zen out the door.

Assassins (part Stupidness of love! -_-*)

I nodded turning to face James.
"I have to go for a little bit," I said, "Stay here." He nodded giving me a hug, and I followed Zen out.

Monday, April 25, 2011

Assassins (part Dalek!)

I stood up looking at Zen.
"Why?" I asked, "Why didn't you kill him? You didn't have to keep him alive."

Thursday, April 21, 2011

Assassins (Part Sonic screwdriver! :D)

"James?!" I gasped as I followed Zen through the hole. James stood in the room starring at me with a bright look in his eyes.
"James!" I exclaimed rushing to him
and pulling him into a hug tears falling down my face, "I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry."
"It's ok Alexandra," He said, "I found someone to take care of me." I looked up at him in surprise. "Did someone help you?"

I nodded my lip trembling, "You could say that."

Assassins (Part hehehe. >:) )

I followed him down the road wondering to myself where we were headed. I mental catalogued the rout making sure that I would be able to find the place again.

Assassins (part FROSTING! :D)

I was about to tug away from him when I noticed the faint glimmer in his eyes. I stopped looking at him as he told me to go back with him to share the reward. He hadn't killed him. He couldn't have.
"Fine," I said yanking my arm free once againg, "I'll go, but I swear I'll kill you if you do anything." I slid the small knife down my sleeve so the point barely glimmered in the sun. I wasn't afraid of him.

Assassins (part @_@)

"What?!" I hissed yanking my arm from his grasp, "Did you finish the job? If so good. It's for the better. I'm going to the boss to quit right now. You were right. I wasn't meant to do this job." I turned back in the direction of Head quarters and started walking again.

Assassins (part Can I kill someone?)

I felt my anger boil as he disappeared. I sighed closing my eyes and turning away walking down the street. If he was going to kill James he was going to kill him. I had left him to die. Why should it matter to me. I grumbled killing a a rock making it go into the street. I never wanted this, I thought, I hadn't been my choice. I could still see the face of the man who lead our organization when I had been little and he had saved me. Given me hope. He had turned me into a killer. This was his way of getting back at me. I walked purposefully toward the head quarters determined to quit. I would not go through with this any longer.

Assassins (part I see the hooded man! haha)

"Because he's technically my brother!" I shouted after him in anger, "I only took this job to save him! I didn't expect for this to happen." I looked away taking a deep breath trying to recover my emotions. I hated it if they showed through. It was not what assassins did.

Monday, April 18, 2011

Assassins (part Space! :D)

I swiftly stepped in front of him a stern look on my face. "I won't let you kill him," I growled, "Job or no Job. Just trust me on this! We can't kill him. Please."

Thursday, April 14, 2011

Assassins (part Idk)

I didn't know how to reply to Zen. I followed him as we watched James movement. I sighed trying to ease my coming headache. How could this be? How did I get myself wrapped up in this mess. "I can't do this," I stated turning away from James and Zen.

Random

I made my way down the dark cold street. The air rushing by like ice claws trying to rack off my coat. I clenched my teeth hard together pulling the collar up on my coat. "You can't escape me," A voice hissed on the wind. "Watch me," I growled into my coat. I was suddenly pressed up against the wall held by my neck by an invisible force. "Stop trying to figure it out!" The voice exclaimed in front of me. It sounded hard and male. "I'll never stop," I stated, the pressure increasing on my neck. "I can kill you," He said. "Do it," I insisted, "You're a coward as it is not to even show you're face." I felt the pressure close hard around my throat and then disappear instantly. "I will be watching you," He hissed showing his hooded form ever so slightly before vanishing taking the bitter wind with him.

Assassins (part DIE!)

I tried to stiffle a gasp as I saw the boy run out of the house. "James?" I gasped under my breath. I hadn't seen the boy since the day I had left him abandoned in the street when I knew we might both die. I had never thought he would end up here. Of all places. Why was he there? Who wanted him dead? And Why hadn't I noticed the name before! My head swirled with thoughts, and I let out a small groans.

Assassins (part.......!)

"And they say you're the best?" I scoffed turning away from him, "As if." I made my way down the street staying alert and listening to every sound. A man in robes and silk clothing made is way down the street. "Excuse me sir, I don't know if by chance you could help me?" I asked trying to seem as normal as possible. The man looked me up and down taking on a disgusted expression. "And what do you want? I presum money or something?" He huffed. "No sir I was sent to deliver some thing a James Thorton. Do you know what he looks like or where he lives? I've having the hardest time finding him," I said playing it all our smoothly. "James Thorton? What? He's just a boy! About ya high," He motioned to his waist area, "The most hansome of blond curly hair. His family is one of the most richest in the land. You should be honored with your deliver!" He stated. "Don't worry I am sir," I replied. "Well then," He said, "The Thortons live in the estate at the far end of the street." He pointed to a far house down the stree a bit. I nodded, "Thank you sir." "My pleasure." I watched him go and then doubled my way back to Zen.

Assassins (part Sci)

I nodded trying not to really think much. The name of our next target seemed so familiar to me. So....... I shook my head not quite knowing why I knew the name. I watched Zen's facial expressions as he grumbled about finding more information on the target. I knew I'd probably be doing most of the talking. I sighed following him toward the street the target lived on.

Assassins (Part cinq)

I listened to the chief simply nodding and following my partner out. He looked back at me asking my name catching me by surprise. "Alex," I stated for the fourth time that day, "And you've never told me your's. What is it?"

Assassins (part four)

I glared at him frustrated by his arrogance. He always had to be right. I had only been with him for a few days, and I couldn't stand it. I could see now why they never gave him a partner. They would just leave before the end of the week. I shook my head following. I was determined to be the first to get him to be nice to me or at least say something nice. The streets were crowded as usual as we made our way down them. The close crowd seemed to feel comforting cover for me helping me blend in without thinking.

Assassins (Part three)

I rolled my eyes looking at him irritated. "I was taking care of the Archers if you didn't notice," I replied, "It's not my fault that they put me with you. You are the best there is." I rolled my eyes shaking my head.

Assassins (part two)

I stood on the steps of the library waiting from him to come. I could see the crowd several blocks away forming around the dead man. Had it been that easy? It felt odd to me being new to it. They had stuck me with the best the minute I had arrived. I watched him carefully trying to learn his ways.

Monday, April 4, 2011

Assassins

I followed close behind catching site of the archer's shooting at the hooded figure in front of them. I sighed swiftly making my way toward them passing by them in a swift move sending them to the ground. Too easy. I thought keeping sight of my partner. I couldn't loose him in the crowd again. It was sloppy and sloppy wasn't an option when it came to the mission. It all had to be done right.

Revenge (part two)

Hours, Minutes, Seconds, with each passing one my wrists ached more. The girl paced below me glaring up at me from time to time.
"What? Plan not working out?" I shouted down at her. I felt the hook suddenly jerk and slack as I fell several feet and was yanked to a stop before slamming into the ground. She grabbed my chin pulling it close to her.
"You will repay for what you did," She insisted.
"Repay? For what? Finally telling you to tell the truth?! Your ridiculous Isabelle," I spit in her face. She smacked me hard across the face her anger boiling.

"Fine," She said, "Time to send a message." She yanked me from the hook and dragged me over onto one of the assembly lines. She latched metal clasps onto my already bound wrists and ankles.
"Just so you don't roll off," She said, "Do you know what this factory used to make?"

"No," I growled struggling against the restraints.
"Neither do I," She insisted, "But I've modified it so it does other stuff." She walked over to the wall pressing a switch bringing the whole area to life. The assembly line start to move, and I looked up to see down the path see a saw in the middle of it all.
"Wow, Old much?" I mocked as I kept moving closer toward the saw.
"Scream Jackson, Scream for him," She laughed.

"No," I said through clenched teeth trying to get out of the clasps. The saw started to get closer, and I felt myself start to panic. Where was he?
"Jake," I barely said, "JAKE!" I heard Isabelle laugh and I felt the saw starting to brush and shred my shoes. The sound of machinery dying caused me to look forward and see Jake having shoved a metal pole into the assembly line and saw.
"Darklight," Isabelle hissed.
"If you wanted me to come so badly you could have just called," Jake sighed unclasping me and unbinding me, "I'm so sorry I'm late."
"Don't do that again ok?" I said as he held me close.
"I promise," He said brushing a stray piece of my hair. Something flew towards us hitting me in the side. I swore looking down at the small throwing knife. I glared up hard at Isabelle.
"I will not loose!" She screamed, "You will forever regret not trusting me Jackson." She turned around running from the building. Jake held onto me as my knees buckled.
"Easy," He insisted.
"What is up with people and stabbing me with knifes?" I laughed trying to lighten the mood.
Jake tried to laugh while his eyes started to tear, "I don't know, but you promise you won't die on me?"
"I promise," I said as he kissed me, and I blacked out.

Revenge (part one)

I walked down the rain wet sidewalk toward the cross walk. The girl with brown hair stood by the building close by glaring at me with hate. I ignored her crossing the road toward the trail leading to my street. Clip its of the conversation passed through my mind as I starred back to find the girl gone. The sound of tries screeching came from in front of me, and I looked up to see a black van stop close by. I started to walk faster breaking into a run. I turned a corner and something hit me hard in the stomach. My breath whooshed out of me, and I fell to the ground. I starred up to see the girl standing over me holding a metal bar.

"Good night Jade," She smirked bringing the bar down hard on my head causing me to black out.

* * * * *

I woke up in the back of a van. My head throbbed and my wrists and ankles were bound together. I looked up at the windows of the back doors only to find them fogged over.

"Crap," I hissed under my breath. The van jerked hitting a bump in the road sending me into the wall of the van. I cursed as the van pulled to a stop. The back doors opened, and two dark figures roughly yanked me out and towards a building. I smiled noticing the lake stretching out behind it towards a small city below massive mountains. A view I had grown up seeing all my life.

"Idiots!" A voice exclaimed from the building, "Now she knows where we are!"

"Sorry miss," One of the guards holding me said.

"Sorry won't cut it!" She growled. There was the sound of a gun shot and the men holding me both collapsed along with me. The girl walked over cutting the rope from my ankles.

"Do anything and I'll kill you," She hissed pointing the pocket knife she held to my throat. She grabbed me roughly by the arm and shoved me toward the building. Unused assembly line took up most of the area, and the girl stopped me in the middle of the area.

"Now," She said, "All we have to do is set you up and wait."

"What do you mean?" I asked confused as she retied my ankles. She smiled reaching up and slipping a metal hook between the rope binding my hands. I gasped as my feet suddenly left the ground, and I found myself dangling from the ceiling.

"I wouldn't try struggling if I were you," The girl called up, "You might hurt yourself." She laughed disappearing from view.

Sad

The wind whipped around the corner, moaning and warning me that what I was about to do could change everything. I glanced down at my phone and then up at him. I knew that if I didn't say something now that I wouldn't have the courage to do it later.
"Aiden I need to tell you something," I said, and he looked at me with those baby blue eyes I loved so much, "Everyone says that we like each other, but we've never said it to each other."
"What do you mean?" He asked looking at me a bit confused.
"I mean we haven't ever said it, face to face." I sighed just begging for him to understand. He still looked at me with a puzzled look.
"Adrian!" A voice exclaimed as one of my friends came down the sidewalk.
"Hey you," I said giving her a huge. She smiled as the bell rang, and she walked past us.
"I better go," Aiden insisted giving me a huge, "Bye."
"Bye," I sighed watching him leave. My heart feeling like it had been torn from my chest.

Protector

Silence. The whole area was silent. I leaned in the chair in the far corner of the room as the girl with flowing blond hair paced the room.
"Would you quit doing that it's annoying," I huffed running a worried hand through my long dark brown hair.
"Where is he though?" She insisted continuing to pace. I sighed letting the legs of the chair touch the ground and walked toward her.
"Ever," I said grasping her shoulders to stop her from pacing. We stood at the same height starring into each other's eyes.
"You're right," She sighed, "I'm sorry." She sat down on the couch as the door suddenly opened. A boy with shaggy blond hair walked in wearing jeans and a casual white sweater.
"Sam!" Ever exclaimed rushing over to his waiting arms. A boy followed him in shutting the door behind him. His fedora hat was pulled close over his curly brown hair and his deep eyes shone bright. He wore dark clothes like always.
"You're ever that late again, and I'll have to kill you," I insisted.
He laughed, "I don't doubt that you would, Adrain." My name seemed foreign on his lips, and I shook my head.
"Aiden," I said, "You weren't followed right?"
"I don't know," He stated Moving toward the only window in the room. He peered out into the dark city below. I looked around him seeing the only light in the city coming from the tall building in the middle of the whole place.
"I should get him out of here," Aiden said moving away and back into the room. I nodded sadly, and he stopped looking at me.
"This wasn't just for her was it?" He questioned his eyes filled with concern.
"Yeah," I said, "It wasn't." He grabbed me by the waist pulling me close to him and kissed me. I closed my eyes only feeling his soft lips against mine. Loud voices came from down the hall, and we quickly broke away. Aiden swore under his breath as the door was blow from it's hinges. Dust filled the room blurring my vision.
"NO!" I heard Ever scream from somewhere off to my right.
"EVER!" I shouted trying to make my way toward her. Something hit me hard in the stomach sending me tumbling to the ground.
"Pathetic little protector," A husk voice growled. I starred up at a man with a stubble beard and mostly shaved head.
"General," I grunted.
"Still weak as ever?" He asked. I lashed out with my foot, and he caught it in mid kick.
"Forget who trained you Adrain?" He twisted his wrists snapping my ankle to a wrong angle. I gasped in surprise as he release it. I fell to the ground unable to move.
"Better luck next time?" He laughed turning around and disappearing.
"ADRAIN!" I could hear Ever's scream fading farther away.
"No," I panted the blackness of pain enveloping me into nothingness.

Interogation

I sat in the hard metal chair in the middle of the circle of light. My hands were tied roughly behind me, and my wrists feldt raw from trying to get them loose. My legs were tied close to the chair and had gone numb hours ago.
"Where's your hero Adrian? Did he abandon you again?" A girl's voice mocked from the darkness.
"Shut up," I hissed.
"Oo, touchy," She stepped forward into the light standing in front of me. Her orange hair reached to her shoulders in a wave like style.
"What do you want, Ember?"
"The simpliest thing. I beat you can guess."
"Revenge?"
"Oh you are a smart one."
I laughed, "I've been through enough to know that most people that do this want revenge from me. So why is it you want it?" I cocked my head to the side giving a small smile.
"Why do you think? Isn't it easy to guess?" She retorted.
"Oh yea it is easy, but it's useless of you to do so. He already likes me," I said. She let out a scream slashing out with something sharp across my cheek. I felt blood stream from the gash and down my cheek.
"Well that won't do," A voice said from in the darkness.
"What?!" Ember gasped backing away as a boy with short curly brown hair stepped into the circle.
"Aiden," I said, "Your late."
"So sorry," He smirked, "I had a few things to take care of."
"Shut up!" Ember screached suddenly placing a knife to my throat, "You will do what I say or she dies." Aiden looked at me and then up at Ember.
"No I won't," He insisted. I felt the knife graze my neck as Ember was yanked back into the dark. I heard her scream and then it was cut off. Aiden walked toward me untying me from the chair.
"Remind me to kill you later," I said slugging him in the arm.
He laughed, "Don't count on that."

Small story clips.

I'm bored beyond bored out of my mind and well I have been thinking on this idea for a while and It sounds good. Just writing a bunch of intros or little scenes I have and just coming back later to them. Here's what I got:

I sat atop of the roof top starring down at the passing people. I hated them. Every single one of them. It didn't matter if they did nothing. I hated them. I clenched and un clenched my fists at my side feeling more frustrated starring at them. Those stupid humans. I was disgusted to be one myself. To know that I belonged to this race. I couldn't stand it.
* * * * * *

The rain softly feel as I stood underneath the over hanging school roof.
"Come on!" He insisted. I sighed starring up at his now soaked blond hair. His blue eyes shining brightly.
"It's pouring out there though!" I shouted back to him.
"If you don't come out here I'll come get you," He insisted.
"You wouldn't!" I gasped as he ran toward me. I only had time to drop my stuff before he grabbed me by the waist and dragged me out into the rain.
* * * * *

I sat in the tree my cloak pulled tightly around me, and my bow armed and ready. The Moon shone high above and every sound from bellow seemed amplified. I heard the snap of a branch, and my gaze landed on the hooded figure bellow. I pulled my bow string back aiming carefully and firing.
* * * * *

I weaved in and out of the crowd trying not to leave any gaps. My coat caught a bit of wind blowing behind me making the setting more real. This couldn't be happening, I thought, not now. I starred to the side in a shop window seeing the man still on my tail. My life dream had just become a living nightmare.
* * * * *

I ran hard jumping from roof to roof. The sun beat down hard burning the back of my neck.
"Don't let him excape!" The guards shouted, but I didn't dare look back.
* * * *

I felt the shivers run up my spin before she even got close.
"Touch me and I'll kill you," I hissed. I turned around to see her. Charker, Mintroler, Snat. I dispised her. Her orange blond hair wavy, and she wore a dark brown shirt.
She laughed, "Why so anxious Jade? I'm not going to hurt you." Her voice was like ice down my back.
"Liar," I said my breath coming out in a puff of fog, "Your nothing but a charker. I'll never trust you."
"You will," She purred, "One way, or another."
* * * * *

The moon shined high above sending an eerie light on the mountain. He grasped me hard by my neck pressing me up against a tree.
"Why don't you quit!" He shouted in my face.
"Because I don't give in that easily to people like you," I spit in his face.
* * * * *

I stood on the top of the sky scraper looking over at the far drop below. The wind whipped hard trying to throw me down. The sword he pointed at me dug deeper into my back pushing me farther off the edge.
"Fly," He insisted.

Notebook story

So I haven't posted forever, and I was flipping through an old notebook and came upon an unfinished short story, here's what it is:

I stood by the window starring out at the night live city. The metal shackle around my ankle was cold and uncomfortable. I let out a deep breath seeing my breath fog in front of me. The metal door behind me creaked open, and I didn't even turn around to look at him.
"No even going to say hi?" He asked standing behind me. I could feel his heat radiating off him.
"Are you cold yet?" He purred into my ear, "Just say it, and I'll warm you up." I breathed out a small puff of fire and heard him curse.
"I'm stronger than you think," I stated, "You can't break me."
"So sure about that?" He insisted.
"I'd rather freeze then give in to you. I'm pretty sure," I said.
He grunted, "Fine. Stay in here for all I care." He turned around and walked back out the door taking the warmth with him.

London eye

I was looking through flair, and I've been trying to find more places for stories to take place and I saw a flair with the London eye. Here's my story:

It was a cloudy gloomy day. I stood in the crowded line of tourists waiting to buy my ticket. I wore my dark trench coat, a long sleeve dark green shirt, worn jeans, and converse reaching up to my knees. My dark brown hair was pulled back into a pony tail, and the wind nibbed at my bare ears and neck. Why anyone would be out in this weather or going on the London eye was a mystery to me. I reached the ticket booth a purchased a ticket for five minutes from then. I walked over to the cafe across the street and purchased a bagel. I found a window seat and watched the people walk by the window. The London eye moved slowly around. The clouds above not dropping a single raindrop. Someone slipped into the chair across from me and I didn't bother to looked away from the window.
"Where?" A boy's voice asked.
"Five minutes. Circle. Excuse me do I know you?" I said the first two things under my breath and the last one out loud for someone to hear.
"Oh I'm sorry I thought you were my friend," He replied.
"Oh your fine," I laughed, "I was just leaving." I got up from the table and left the shop trying not to smile. I made my way to the entrance ramp of the London eye where people were lining up to board. I pulled on a pair of sunglasses and scanned over the people in line spotting the woman at the front with the boy around my age standing next to her.
"Mich if you don't stay by me then I'm going to have to ring your neck," The woman hissed grabbing him roughly by the arm.
"You don't scare me," I read Mich's lips speak.
"Oh you'd be surprised boy," The women spoke back. I tried to keep my face straight as the people loaded the capsule. The woman shoved the boy to the far side of the capsule, and I stayed by the entrance. A boy a bit taller than me took the spot on the other side of me as they closed the door to the capsule.
"So what's your name?" The boy next to me asked. I looked up at him. He had baby blue colored eyes and short blond hair. I could see the invisible braces when he smiled.
I laughed, "Give me a reason to tell you?" He smiled. I turned around to see Mich and the lady and casually leaned against the railing.
"What do you plan to do?" The boy asked in french.
"Simple," I replied in Arabic, "Get him back." I watched the lady catch my eye and pull something from her bag and thrust it to Mich's side.
"Well. Well. Well," The Lady said loud enough for everyone in the capsule to hear, "If it isn't Jade Jackson, and her little side kick Luke Darklight. What didn't feel like dragging your boyfriend around Jade?"
I clenched my teeth hard together, "He's busy Fionna. Now hand over Mich!" She shoved him forward showing the gun she held to his side.
"Dead or Dead?" She mocked.
"Alive would be the best," Luke growled holding up a small pistol of his own. The other people on the capsule shrank to the sides, and a lady screamed out in horror.
"Watch well cizilians!" Fionna shouted, "This fight will be one to tell all!" I heard the blast of the gun shot and swore. I shot forward hitting Fionna hard on the back of the head.
"You can't always win Jackson," She said as she fell into unconciousness.
"Mich!" I exclaimed rushing to his side. Blood rushed from his wound creating a pool below him.
"LUKE!" I screamed, and he appeared in front of me. I pressed my hands to Mich's wounds trying to stop the blood, but it covered my hands. Tears started to spill from my eyes, and I felt Mich put his hand on my cheek.
"Don't worry about me," He coughed, "You caught her. All the best heros loose at least once." His hand fell away and the color left his eyes. Tears flowed unable to stop blurring my vision beyond seeing.
"Jade," Luke coaxed shaking me, "We have to go, NOW!" The capsule had reached the top of the eye, and I took one last look at Mich. I wipped my hands on his jeans and accepted the backpack from Luke. We popped open the emergency hatch and jumped out into the freezing rain.

Super sad and I started it forever ago, but I thought I needed a change and that Jade doesn't have to win every fight she gets into. Please tell me what you think.

Funeral

I got this idea at my great aunt's funeral cause I never cry during them, but I thought that Jade should cry once and it be during her parent's funeral. This is the story:

I sat in the chapel at the back a way from the people. I kept my head down low trying to hide the tears falling from my eyes.
"Jacob and Melissa Jackson lived a great life," The priest droned on. I couldn't concentrate on what he was saying or look up at the two caskets at the front.
"They're daughters, Jade and Ever, have our full sympathy. We are so sorry for your lose." I could feel people looking at me, but I didn't look at them. I felt someone put their arm around me and looked up at the boy with blond hair and deep blue eyes filled with concern. Jake, my best friend. I sighed looking up at the man standing at the pulpit. His image seemed to faulter turning from a big troll like thing to human again. I scowled as a smile creeped onto his face.
"Would you like to give any words, Jade?" The man's voice sent shivers up my back, and I sighed getting up from my seat. Ever sat next to Luke, her head buried in his shoulder. I made my way to the front trying to look strong. The man's form seemed twisted, and his smile seemed bigger. He reached out a hand for mine, and I looked at it cautiously but took it. A pain started to crawl up my arm and through my body, and I tried to ignore it but it increased. The man's grip on my hand was fierce, as I struggled against it.
"Let go," I growled under my breath.
He let out a low chuckle, "Now why would I do that?" In one swift move he moved his hand to my neck and pinned me to the wall.
"Jade!" I heard several people shout.
"One move toward me and I kill the girl!" The man holding me commanded.
"Let me go or I swear," I gasped.
"You swear what, Little Jackson, You don't scare me," He laughed. My hands seemed to glow an orange color, and he gasped. I thrusted my hand forward sending an orange cloud around the man. He let out a scream and disappeared in a puff of green smoke. I fell to the ground gasping for breath as people started to surround me.
"Jackson are you all right?" A man with black hair asked standing close to me.
"What was that thing and what did I do to it?" I asked as Jake helped me to my feet.
"That thing was an Adude and what you did was use Sunergy. We will train you to use it better and how to fight creatures like the Adude."
I nodded, "I'm ready for it."

A new start (homeless part 4)

(Jacq)

I woke up to the brightly lite white room that smelled of strong chemicals, and cleaning solution. I tried to sit up, but an extreme pain cause me to wince and lay back down.

"Hey. Take it easy there," I turned my head to see Xander sitting in a chair by my bed, a bandage around his chest.

"What happened?" I asked my voice coming out hoarse.

His eyes were red and tears started to flow again, "Jane stabbed you with a dagger in the back," He sniffed, "They said you might not live." He put his head down on my leg letting the sobs come out. I ran a hand through his dirty black hair, and he looked up at me.

"I'm alive," I insisted, "You don't need to cry." I leaned down and kissed him. I could feel the wetness of his tears. He ran his fingers in my tangled hair, and I pulled away but rested my forehead on his. The door opened, and a man in a flannel shirt, casual jeans and wearing glasses walked in. He had blond hair with flecks of gray probably from stress.

"I presume that you are Xander and Jacqueline, am I correct?" He asked

"Yes sir," I replied. Xander sat on the edge of my bed, and the man stood at the food of it.

"My name is Agent Johnson. I work with MI6...."

"I know who you are and where you are from," I said cutting him off, "The question is are you here for something I did or something else I might have done?"

He let out a short laugh and looked at me, "I think it's for both reasons. Do you know where you are?"

I rolled my eyes, "You could dump me anywhere on the planet and I could tell you if I was in a secret area or not."

"They said you were good at combat. I don't think they looked into your academics."

"I've lived on the streets my whole life. All I know I learned from books or computers."

"The reason we need you to come work for us."

"Work? For you?" I looked at him with shock, "What's the catch?"

"We'll pay all fees for a house and food for you and Xander. We want both of you to work for us," He said smiling. I looked over at Xander who nodded continually.

"What about Jane and Mike?" I asked.

"They will not be able to get near you or have any custody over you. Do you accept?"

"Yes."

Miscommunication (homeless part 3)

(Jacq)

I watched as Xander's body fell to the road and felt myself scream.

"She's awake?! I thought you made her breath in enough of that stuff to knock her out for several days!" The driver hissed.

"I don't know!!! But she's awake now," The man in the back replied. I felt my anger spark high and hit out with my bound hands. The man grunted falling the floor.

"What the......?!" I banged my feet hard into the drivers head and he slumped forward in the seat. The car started to swerve, and I grabbed a dagger from the man in the back. I sliced off the ropes on my wrists and then my ankles. I shoved the guys out the doors and took control of a wheel.

"Let's hope this is automatic," I said out loud. I jerked the wheel so the car made a sharp u-turn. I parked it on the side of the road where Xander's body lay. Dead or alive I couldn't tell. I ran to his side and inspected the wound in his chest just barely below his heart.

"Jacq," He moaned.

"I'm here," I replied, "We're going to take you to the hospital. You'll be alright." I could hear the sirens of police cars and ambulances making they're way to us. I could help but tense only thinking for the worst. I let a single tear run from my eye knowing it could all be over. I felt Xander raise his hand to my face and looked down at him through blurred vision.

"I won't let them get us," He insisted, "I won't let them get YOU."

I sniffed, "I love you."

"I love..." he winced, "I love you too." I leaned down the tears now flowing down my checks and kissed him. The emergency people screeched to a halt by us and rushed forward. I held tight to Xander's hand as they started to put him onto the stretcher.

"Miss," A paramedic said putting a hand on my shoulder, "We need to have a word with you." I looked back down at Xander and gave him another kiss.

"I'll be back," I replied.

"You better," He mocked giving a faint smile. I walked away with the paramedic to a few cops all whispering to each other.

"Good evening miss," One of the cops said nodding to me, "We suspect you know what happened here?" I looked over my shoulder to where the other paramedics were looking over Xander.

"Yes my boyfriend and I were just out on a date, and you know how bad this city can be with muggers. They saw use coming down the street and they had guns and tried to get me into a car and..." I fake trailed off bursting into tears that I didn't really have to fake.

"It's ok Miss," The cop said, "We'll save your boyfriend." I nodded wiping the tears away. I made my way over to Xander as they started to load him into the ambulance.

"We'll have to take him to the hospital to look at the wound better," One of the paramedics told me, "Your free to ride in the truck with him."

"Thank you," I replied giving him a half smile.

"Jacqueline!" I heard a voice call from far off. My face seemed to drain of color as I turned around to see the lady with flowing black hair wearing a blue color dress and coat.

"Jacq, what is it?" Xander asked seeing my concerned face.

"Jane," I hissed under my breath. Jane came to the opening of the truck smiling up at us.

"There you two are!" She panted, "We've been worried sick! Are you alright?" I glared hard at her with hatred as the cops came up to the truck.

"Excuse me Madame, but this is a closed area, you can't be in here," One of them said.

"Sir these are my children, I have permission to be here," she replied smiling back at me.

"I don't know this woman," I told the cop. Jane latched onto my arm squeezing her sharp nails into my arm.

"Honey your probably just suffering from trauma from your brother being shot," She insisted.

"She's lying," Xander said with a stern voice. Jane glared up at him. He looked fierce sitting up clutching his hurt side. The paramedics begging him to lay back down.

"Mrs. Chase," The chief police said stepping forward, "We're going to have to ask you to step away from the teens."

"Officer I can assure you that these are my children. I have the papers to prove it." She kept her grip on my arm and pulled out a piece of paper from her pocket. I could feel the blood starting to rise to the wound she was creating. The chief looked over the paper letting out a sigh.

"She's right. She has full custody of them," He said.

"What!? NO!" I screamed as she started to drag me from the truck.

"Come on dear we'll meet them at the hospital." Jane said.

"NO! LET ME GO!" I shouted lashing out at her, but she caught my hand twisting it at a hard angle till it snapped. I gasped, and she pulled me the rest of the way out of the truck.

"Xander!" I exclaimed.

"Jacq!" I heard him shout. He lashed out against the paramedics and jumped from the truck. He pulled out a dagger from his pocket and rushed toward us.

Jane smirked, "You never learn boy." I felt her thrust something into my back and pain sheared from the spot. My breath left from my mouth as I collapsed to the ground.
